It’s been said that Linda Libert was born talking…the “early warning sign” of a professional speaker. Joyfully married to Bob since 1980, she has three grown daughters. Her background includes a bachelor’s degree in education from Massachusetts College of Art, several years of teaching in public and private schools, and experience in electro-mechanical drafting and technical illustration. In 2010 she received a Masters degree in Communication from Spring Arbor University, Michigan.
With the birth of her first child in 1982 Linda became a stay-at-home mom, and went on to homeschool all three daughters right through grade 12. In 1989 she became a volunteer counselor for the Pregnancy Care Center of Haverhill. Five years later the PCC offered her the salaried position of Community Outreach Educator. Linda developed numerous presentations designed to help youth and adults make healthy lifestyle choices. She has been speaking to audiences all over New England since 1994.
Eventually Linda’s speaking gifts attracted requests for topics outside of her PCC job description. To meet this broader demand she stepped down from the direct employ of the PCC and started Heart to Heart Talks LLC. Linda continues to speak on behalf of the PCC as an independent contractor and looks forward to new venues. Her most popular presentation is “Sex Ed Homestyle” which equips parents to do the job right…at home, where it belongs. She also conducts weekly public speaking courses for home taught high-schoolers through New Hope Tutorials based in Boxford, Massachusetts.
